BOOKS
MURDER ON THE MAUNGATAPU: A narrative history of the Burgess gang; a band of murderous bushrangers who terrorised the Australian and New Zealand goldfields in the 1800s. The book was published by Canterbury University Press in 2016 and shortlisted for the NZ Heritage Book Awards.
Reviews for the book were glowing without exception. A review on Radio NZ is at this link: RNZ Review
A review by former TVNZ head Ian Fraser it at this link: Spinoff Review
STRENGTH to STRENGTH: A 75-year history of Powell Fenwick Consultants. This privately commissioned corporate history was published in 2013 and was well received. Researching and writing this book whetted my appetite for writing history and led to the Maungatapu book.
